Do you know what these are?
Yup - they are different versions of a martenitsa...

On March 1st Bulgarians celebrate the traditional beginning of spring with the arrival of the mythical Baba Marta (or "Granny March"). People give each other an adornment of red and white wool threads, called а martenitsa, and wish each other health and happiness.

You can go and honor this tradition at the free martenitsa workshop on February 22nd at 18:00 here at Studenterhuset.
