In Denmark, everyone is terribly punctual and terrifically busy. Danes are punctual to the point that it hurts. In fact, they will most probably arrive not just on time, but ahead of time. But why are the Danes so punctual?
Welcome to CPH is recruiting new VOLUNTEERS for our website StudyCPH.dk!
So, we here at StudyCPH want to thank our followers for a great 2015 and wish you a happy new year, and we hope that you will keep checking in on our site in 2016! Before we went our separate ways before Christmas, Sean, Edward and Jared made this little video here for you in case you’re curious about becoming a volunteer with us or just want to take a look behind the scenes.
Volunteering has a very strong tradition in Denmark, and with recent political trends it is only gaining ground as a form of social responsibility. Studenterhuset has about 200 volunteers at any given moment, and as a non-profit organisation, it simply couldn’t function any other way! In this video, Sean gives you a tour of the house and talks to the volunteer ambassador and one of the volunteer coordinators to find out what it’s like to be a part of Studenterhuset’s volunteer family. Details on signing up in the end of the video – stay tuned!
